Reading days
Today, I've finally finished reading Harry Potter and The Order of Phoenix, all 765 pages. After only got like 150 pages for 3 days, I went into over drive and most of the book on Saturday and Sunday. Overall, I don't think it's quite as good as the last one. I always like the whodunnit part of the Potter series, and the fourth book, HP and the Goblet of Fire is superb in this category. Unfortunately, this is the part that the fifth book lacked. The story is more focused the connection of Harry and Voldemort. I hope the sixth would be better though, and have some good mistery to solve.

Rest In Peace
This is a sad day for football. This morning, Marc Vivien-Foe, the Cameroon midfielder, has passed away in the middle of the Confederation Cup semifinal match. The officials still have to determined the cause of his death, but possibly he died from a heart attack. He was nearly signed by United a few years back. In fact, if he hadn't got seriously injured, he may become a United player back then. This is quite shocking, because he's only 28, and for a footballer, that's when you're at the peak of your powers. My condolences for his family, who watched the game from the stands. I can't think what's going on in their mind right now, but I hope they got the strength to carry on..

Can't get you out of my head
Ever had that song that you can't keep out of your head, no matter how much you hated that song?
Well mine today was the song Staying Alive by the Bee Gees. I don't know why, but today, I just get that song refrain played over and over again in my head, mixed with the dangdut version of it... yuck!!!
I feel ill already..

Harry Potter and The Order of Phoenix
I've got my copy three days ago, and right now, I'm in the middle of the 9th chapter, still a long way to go to finished all 38 chapter. It's kinda funny when I remember that back in college, I manage to read the 4th book in just two days :D. All this working stuff takes most of my time that I had little time to read anything by the time I got home. I got tempted to read it online after I found out that you could get it for free on the internet, but managed to resist the temptation and force myself to the bookstore and bought the copy. Besides, what's the fun of reading 780 pages sitting in front of your computer ?
Would it be nice to read it while half-laying on the sofa, accompanied by hot coffee/tea and some fried banana..(or pisang goreng, if you don't get what I mean) ? :D

Saving the bandwith
As part of the tigthen the budget plan, the management decided to diss the unlimited ASDL internet connection, and replace it with the limited 1 gigs per month only for cheaper connection. This could only mean one thing, finished those damn pending downloads before it's to late!!

Tomorrow is now
It's 1 am, and I'm still awake!

Traffic Games
Have any weird games to do to kill the boredom of traffic jam?
Well, one mine is to find the best way to count the sum of a police number of the car in front of me.
Example:
The car in front of me has a number B 2981 XY.
My best way to add the 2981 is by adding the 9+1 =10 and 8+2 =10 first. Which leads you to the number 20, as the result of the the first two additions. The key is which additions combination leads to the simplest additions. if you add it using 2+9 and 8+1, the result, 11 and 9, isn't as simple as the 2 10s above.
Confusing? I thought so too..

Say Hello, Wave Goodbye
Two days ago, my boss called me to his office and told me that there are going to be some changes in the company structure, which means, somebody is going to get fired. Fortunately, that person isn't me. It's actually two people in the management level that got the boot. Apparently the company feels that they need to tighten up the budget, and since those two are among the top earners, they must go in order to achieve it. It just makes you realize, that the higher your position is, the risk got bigger also. One of the soon to be fired employee isn't exactly like by other people here, we used to make fun of him when his not around. When the news that he's going out came, more jokes on him are coming from other employees. But after a while, I started to feel sorry for him, he already got a family to support while most of us here aren't married yet. I know that sometimes that he could be very annoying, but I don't think he mean any harm. My best wishes goes to him, and hopefully he get a new job soon.
