Cardiff Here We Come!!

I woke up about 11:30, (I sleep from 4:30) and still not get my conciousness back when Phil knock on my door and told me the game start at 12:00 not at 12:30. So still sleepy, I trodded to the television on the kitchen to watch the game. First minutes, long ball upfront from Arsenal, Bergkamp on the clear.. *"Nooooooo!!"*, Carroll come out and saves well with his feet!. But danger not over yet, ball fell back to Bergkamp again and he tried to curve it to goal, but Brown was on the goal line to head the ball out. Corner, Pires take it, headed clear, some ugly bloke from Arsenal headed back in, Toure and Campbell onside!! *second heart attack* Toure head in from 1 yard, but palmed away by Carroll!!.

By this time, I'm not sleepy anymore and my eyes glued to the telly. Minutes later, Bergkamp again broke to the penalty area on the right, cross to Pires on the left, who headed over the bar when it seems easier to score. I had the feeling at that time that we're gonna win it, usually team that missed chances like that would pay for that in the end. And it is. After 30 minutes, Fletcher tackled Vieira on the end of Arse penalty box, ball broke free to Keane, who passed it first time to Gary Nev on the right. Gary then sent the sweetest through ball to Giggs, who laid the ball perfectly for Scholes to rammed it home. 1-0 to Manchester United!!. Yeah baby!!. Arsenal tried to attack, but the defense was superb that day, especially Wes Brown. That failed, they try reverted to dives and playacting. 6 foot Vieira fell down on the slightest touch, Bergkamp stick his foot to O'Shea and fell in the box. Pathetic. Then came Pires slap on Gary which earned him a yellow card. Should've been a red. No matter, Keane sort him out minutes after that with a hard challenge from behind. Eat that French poof!. They put on Henry and Reyes in the second half, but to no avail, as I said, we were magnificent. Even with 5 forwards in the end, they couldn't broke our defense. David Bellion had the chance to wrapped it up in the last minute, but he just inches to connect to Giggs superb cross. Still 1-0, but it'll do. Never, ever wrote off United..

Brown, Carroll and Fletcher were outstanding. Really pleased with Brown, with all the flak he got after he got back from injury. Fletcher is twice the player he was in the centre than he was in the wing. Carroll proves that he's not going to give the no1 position easily to Tim Howard. Great play lads, now lets kick some Wise ass on May!

*currently playing: Match of the Day - Genesis*
