The World of Harry Potter

Last week I finally watch the third installment of Harry Potter, and suprisingly this one turns out much better than I expected. The adaptation of the story is better which makes it throughly enjoyable. Although there's bits that I wished they hadn't left out, it doesn't bother me much. The fact that the kids acted better helped too. Dan Radcliffe look more natural, and so was Emma Watson. And I must say that she'll be an absolute knockout in two or three years time . Rupert Grint is the one that I kinda disappointed about. Not his fault though, but because I think he's underused in it.

The week after that, I treat myself with re-read all books that I bought from the local bookstore. I'd never had any of them before (only have the fifth one), since I usually borrow them from friends. It was a nice experience, reliving the whole magical world of Harry Potter. I picked up bits that I didn't notice before, such as the red thread between books and details that makes the story interesting, which makes me appreciate more the works that Rowling had put into the books.

All in all, it's a great piece of work.. and lets hope she ends it as good as she start it..
over and out.

Somewhere in Between
Lifehouse

I can’t be losing sleep over this, no I can’t
And now I can not stop pacing
Give me a few hours, I’ll have this all sorted out
If my mind would just stop racing

Cause I cannot stand still
I can’t be this unsturdy
This cannot be happening

This is over my head but underneath my feet
Cuz by tomorrow morning I’ll have this thing beat
And everything will be back to the way that it was
I wish that it was just that easy

Cuz I’m waiting for tonight
Then waiting for tomorrow
And I’m somewhere in between
What is real, and just a dream
What is real, and just a dream
What is real, and just a dream

Would you catch me if I fall out of what I fell in
Don’t be surprised if I collapse down at your feet again
I don’t want to run away from this
I know that I just don’t need this

Cause I cannot stand still
I can’t be this unsturdy
This cannot be happening

Cuz I’m waiting for tonight
Then waiting for tomorrow
And I’m somewhere in between
What is real, and just a dream
What is real, and just a dream
What is real, and just a dream

Shooting Fish

I stumble at this little flick at BBC 1 tonight, and suprisingly it's pretty good. A lighthearted british comedy starring Stuart Townsend and Kate Beckinsale at their pre-hollywood career.
It's not the kind of comedy that makes you laugh out loud like Jim Carrey's but more like the one that makes you laugh a bit cause of its smart and sweet moments. Well, it's nice to see movies like that for a chance.

Why Did The Chicken Cross The Road

SAEED AL SAHAF - Iraqi Head of Information
The chicken did not cross the road. This is a complete fabrication. We do
not even have a chicken.

GEORGE W BUSH
We don't care why the chicken crossed the road. We just want to know if the
chicken is on our side of the road or not. The chicken is either for us or
against us. There is no middle ground.

COLIN POWELL
Now to the left of the screen, you can clearly see the satellite image of
the chicken crossing the road.

TONY BLAIR
I agree with George.

HANS BLIX
We have reason to believe there is a chicken, but we have not yet been
allowed to have access to the other side of the road.

DR SEUSS
Did the chicken cross the road?
Did he cross it with a toad?
Yes, the chicken crossed the road, but why it crossed I've not been told.

MARTIN LUTHER KING,! JR
I envision a world where all chickens will be free to cross roads without
having their motives called into question.

GRANDPA
In my day, we didn't ask why the chicken crossed the road. Somebody told us
the chicken crossed the road, and that was good enough.

RONALD REAGAN
What chicken?

SIGMUND FREUD
The fact that you are at all concerned that the chicken crossed the road
reveals your underlying s*xual insecurity.

BILL GATES
eChicken2003 will not only cross roads, but will lay eggs, file your
important documents, and balance your checkbook - and Internet Explorer is
an integral part of eChicken2003.

ALBERT EINSTEIN
Did the chicken really cross the road, or did the road move beneath the
chicken?

BILL CLINTON
What is your definition of chicken?

COLONEL SANDERS
Did I miss one?
