Weekend

Saturday: Crap day. Danny fookin' Murphy scored to give Liverpool 1-0 win at Old Trafford. It's good thing I don't get a chance to watch it. I ask the pubs around, and every pubs seem only have Sky channels. This one uncharacteristacally were on Canal plus. Listened to the radio at my room after unsuccessful search, the mood wasn't helped by the scoreline though.

Sunday: Do some ironing, and relax a bit.. I've lot of assignment to work on actually, but I need to get in that 'mood' to start writing. One of my biggest weakness I suppose. Around 10 am I remember that the guy from the mosque invite me to a sunday meeting. I came and it was quite nice.. got alot of food too *grin*. He chatted a bit after the meeting. He asked me "Do you support any football team?" I responded "Man United", and he goes "Arggh, Man United ?? *boriing.." hehehe.. I get that all time. I don't mind though. Finished around five, and as I passed a pub on my way to the station, I decided to catch up on Sunday football scores. As I went in, the telly shows .. Spurs 0, Arsenal 2. Double crap. That's it.. I'm not going to watch them won the league. Back in Sunderland around 6, and I remember that there's a Barca - Madrid game at 6:30. So I walked to the pub accross my accomodation to watch it. This is so much a better entertainment than those thugs at Highbury. Puyol is pure class, I can't believe he have the strength to marshall Barca defence with one injured foot. But in the end, it was Ronaldinho who decided the game. Beautifully chipped pass to Xavi to lobbed in the winner. Eat that David!. Back to my room around 9, still haven't find the 'mood'. Played CM a bit.. bringing Espanyol to European glory!. Although we're a bit lacking in the league. Finally I forced my self to write the assignment around midnight. Not bad, 3 more questions to go.

Around 2 am, I found out that the mother of a good friend just died. My condolences to her and her family.. :(.

Playlist this weekend (on my winamp and cp player) only contains a handful of songs.. Keane is on the top of my fave.. This band rocks!. And dunno why, matchbox twenty's Black and White People kinda stuck with me for this past week..

A deep and soul searching kind of post

you've been warned..

As I said in this guy blog, I have another blog where I can whine and complain about almost everything without being judged by anyone. I take a look at that blog a few minutes ago, and as I looked at some of my writing, I kept thinking, "God, what I miserable jerk I was??".

Although I'm kinda regret to ever feel like that and make such comments, I do agree that those kind of outburst is necessary to keep things in perspective. My situation haven't change much, but as time went bye you do get a better understanding, and acceptance on the situation. You can find solutions, or perhaps you just find a way to live with it. And when you feel like miserable again, just read that posts again and realize that you don't want to go back being that person again.

Move forward, cause time heals.

Yipee..

Sting is going to hold a homecoming concert at Newcastle. I really really really want to go, but the ticket price is thirty friggin six pounds!! all the cheaper ones are sold out. Damn.. should I go or not? I mean he's my musical hero, The Police is probably my first love on music.

Hello

I've been kinda neglecting this blog, so I just came by and say hi.
Just came back from London yesterday, all nice, got a nice rest, meet with friendly and familiar faces again. Watch Brummies - United on St Andrews on Saturday, a whole new experience I must say.
Got a bit of flu when I got back. Prolly a combination of late lunch and the everchanging weather. Not bad, in fact, it gives me the reason to lay around all day, hehehe . But I feel better now though.

Watch 2 movies on my vacation, the first one is Event Horizon. A pretty disturbing flick, gory visualization. Good thing I managed to close my eyes at the right times
The other is The Passion of The Christ. I thought this is pretty good, from a non-christian point of view. The message is not anti-semit, but rather 'love thy enemy'. One quote that I like, is when Jesus (Jim Cavaziel) said, "What's the point of loving someone who already love you?" or something similar like that.

I found out that I'm pretty crap at the whole forgive and forget thing. Time will tell though..

I'd like to end this post by quoting a lyrics (what else?):

"The answers we find, are never what we had in mind, so we make it up as we go along.
"You don't talk of dreams, I wont mention tomorrow, and we wont make those promises that we can't keep."

ps: guess which song this come from ?

Cardiff Here We Come!!

I woke up about 11:30, (I sleep from 4:30) and still not get my conciousness back when Phil knock on my door and told me the game start at 12:00 not at 12:30. So still sleepy, I trodded to the television on the kitchen to watch the game. First minutes, long ball upfront from Arsenal, Bergkamp on the clear.. *"Nooooooo!!"*, Carroll come out and saves well with his feet!. But danger not over yet, ball fell back to Bergkamp again and he tried to curve it to goal, but Brown was on the goal line to head the ball out. Corner, Pires take it, headed clear, some ugly bloke from Arsenal headed back in, Toure and Campbell onside!! *second heart attack* Toure head in from 1 yard, but palmed away by Carroll!!.

By this time, I'm not sleepy anymore and my eyes glued to the telly. Minutes later, Bergkamp again broke to the penalty area on the right, cross to Pires on the left, who headed over the bar when it seems easier to score. I had the feeling at that time that we're gonna win it, usually team that missed chances like that would pay for that in the end. And it is. After 30 minutes, Fletcher tackled Vieira on the end of Arse penalty box, ball broke free to Keane, who passed it first time to Gary Nev on the right. Gary then sent the sweetest through ball to Giggs, who laid the ball perfectly for Scholes to rammed it home. 1-0 to Manchester United!!. Yeah baby!!. Arsenal tried to attack, but the defense was superb that day, especially Wes Brown. That failed, they try reverted to dives and playacting. 6 foot Vieira fell down on the slightest touch, Bergkamp stick his foot to O'Shea and fell in the box. Pathetic. Then came Pires slap on Gary which earned him a yellow card. Should've been a red. No matter, Keane sort him out minutes after that with a hard challenge from behind. Eat that French poof!. They put on Henry and Reyes in the second half, but to no avail, as I said, we were magnificent. Even with 5 forwards in the end, they couldn't broke our defense. David Bellion had the chance to wrapped it up in the last minute, but he just inches to connect to Giggs superb cross. Still 1-0, but it'll do. Never, ever wrote off United..

Brown, Carroll and Fletcher were outstanding. Really pleased with Brown, with all the flak he got after he got back from injury. Fletcher is twice the player he was in the centre than he was in the wing. Carroll proves that he's not going to give the no1 position easily to Tim Howard. Great play lads, now lets kick some Wise ass on May!

*currently playing: Match of the Day - Genesis*

Nostalgic

I just browse back some of the posts that I made a few months back when I restarted this blog. Not so bad afterall me think. I used to think that my posts is just bad and not easy to read. Fortunately that's not always the case..

Anyway, I've started my second term here, and I have finished my first assignment for this semester. We've got a 2 week holiday starting next Monday, and I planned on using it to the fullest! Knowing that after Easter, I had to submit 6 assignments for the next six weeks, well fuck you assignments, fuck you!! I wont be bother with you at my holiday!

Hair. I got a problem with my hair. Why are they so hard to lay down? I mean, almost all the time they just standup like some pr**k with overdose viagra. I have to put on my hat when my hair still wet so that when they become dry, they'll stay down. Even that's not always working. It's starting to piss me off. And everytime I woke up in the morning, my head just look like some giant hedgehog. I was thinking on shaving my head again, but I missed having hair on my head.. Any ideas loyal readers?

I have a question. How do you know that you've reach the level of maturity that fits your age? I often feel like I'm a kid at heart. I dunno if that's good or bad. Sometimes I know just what's the wise and mature things to say or do, but sometimes I regret my reactions on things that I should've known better. I envy those kind of people who just know the right thing to say or do most of the time.

Back to the nostalgic theme, hmm I better tell this in bahasa.
Atau pas main game jaringan bareng sampai pagi, atau waktu maen WE sampai rebutan stick.. aah good old days. And to think at that time we supposed to finished our final paper..hehehe. I can be myself but still feel not out of place at all, isn't that great or what?

cheers guys, I hope I'll see you all soon..
